Apple Wellness Dental has served the Airdrie community since 1993. Originally established as Village Square Dental, the practice was renamed in 2004 and relocated to a modern facility at 229 1st Street SW. The office sits within a multidisciplinary healthcare building that also houses medical services, pharmacy support, chiropractic care, maternity services, and podiatry.

Our dental clinic provides general, restorative, cosmetic, and preventive services for patients of all ages. From routine exams and cleanings to crowns, bridges, dental implants, and root canal therapy, the team addresses a wide range of treatment needs under one roof.

Dr. Hammad Qasim

General Dentist at Apple Wellness Dental

Dr. Qasim was raised in Saskatoon, SK, where he attended dental school at the University of Saskatchewan. He graduated in 2020, before moving to Alberta in 2022. He is at Apple Wellness Dental full-time, and is always working to make sure his patients have the best experience possible. He offers a wide variety of general dental services and is always looking to advance his skills even further through various continuing education courses every year. In his free time, you can find him spending time with family, playing sports, hiking, or lifting weights at your local gym! Don’t forget to say hi if you see him around!

Dr. Sanjay Rajpal

General Dentist at Apple Wellness Dental

Dr. Rajpal was raised in Castor, Alberta and attended dental school at the University of Western Ontario in London. After graduation he opened up Apple Wellness Dental (previously known as Village Square Dental) in 1993. 30 years later, he is still proudly serving the community of Airdrie. Dr. Rajpal offers a wide range of general dental services, with a special interest in endodontics. When he not looking after his patients, you can find Dr. Rajpal either camping, gardening and walking his two Irish Setters, Fred and Barney. He also enjoys playing golf around the wonderful courses in the Calgary area.

Administrative team members Melissa and Kristine manage scheduling, direct billing, insurance coordination, and patient intake.

Dental Clinic That Cares

Dr. Sanjay Rajpal founded the practice over 30 years ago and continues to treat patients alongside Dr. Hammad Qasim, who joined full-time in 2022. The team includes registered dental hygienists, registered dental assistants, and administrative staff who coordinate scheduling, insurance, and direct billing.

The office accepts patients covered under the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) and follows the Alberta Fee Guide. Payment plans are available for those who need them. Appointments can be scheduled Monday through Friday, with Saturday availability upon request.
